Hello, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience of the pee post, I have been trying to get our puppy to do her business in the same place without much luck, thought this might help, on the other hand it could be a complete waste of money. Any thoughts !!?

Is it because mine is a bitch and not a dog that she chooses to go everywhere and anywhere (in the garden). I would really like to get her going in the same place before the spring when my kids will be playing in the garden, without any nasty surprises. Any idea how I might be able to do this ?

I got one for my girl and she picked it out of the ground and chewed it, and it only ever worked as a toy! We trained her to learn a command to go to the toilet, so now we can ask her to go (if she needs to) before we go anywhere. Whenever she peed or pood, we would say 'wee-wees', and it got to the stage where she associated the words with the act, and when she heard wee wee she would go, and we could encourage her to go in one part of the garden. She goes in the end nearest the house now, and the back end is wee and poo free. But honestly the pee post was just an extra expanse and a waste of time in my experience.

My dog tried to chew it when I first put it down. Now he just ignores it. Taking him to where I want him to go on his lead has been more effective.

We have got one and bought some smelly stuff to put on it to refresh it and its rubbish!! ha ha looks like a crazy mushroom in the garden.  Also when I put the ammonia smelling stuff on the pee post my 2 dogs just go up and lick it off
