Was in local fishmongers buying fish for dinner tonight. Lady in front of me buying fish for her poorly dog. When she described to the fishmonger what was wrong with her German Shepherd he said he had, had , the same problem with his some years ago. Apparently it cost him over £2000 pounds , but the dog was insured. Her reponsse to that was,
" I have been breeding GS for many years and have never had this problem before, never had insurance, if it is going to cost that much she will have to go to a rescue centre"
I was really annoyed, but did not say anything, which i wish i had, although what i would have said i do not know.
Another example of a bad Breeder>?

You know it may be possible that she was making a joke, some of us have rather warped senses of humour and I have often said words to the effect of, "free to good home", "I must go home and beat her/him" etc etc etc None of these threats have been meant or indeed carried out....................... (yet) :D
