Is your puppy on dried food? I used to give my puppy a few bits of her kibble as treats when good/training.
We had a bad experience with treats, they are meant for older dogs and I gave them to Sasha and we where both up all night with her upset tummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I reintroduced them after 6 months, hope this helps

Hi
You can give all sorts as treats but make sure they are small pieces - cheese, liver (boiled and then dried slowly in oven and extra bits frozen), hot dogs etc. I use pieces about the size of my little finger nail for my Dobermanns so they don't exactly get loads!

Have you seen the rice bones that pedigree do?
They are puffed rice with chicken gravy flavouring.
They don't have any age restriction on these and my puppies
as youngsters loved them. They still do. :))
I think they are maybe under the 'light' section of the pedigree treats.
Kind Regards
Kirstine
Both my two when pups got Eukanuba biscuits amongst other things already mentioned. If using for treats I would break the biscuit up into tiny bits but quite often they would get a whole biscuit (they are pretty small) after each meal as a wee treat for finishing and if they didn't finish their meal they didn't get a biscuit. Didn't take long for them to cotton on that finishing the meal mean't a biscuit for afters :-)

Does liver have to be boiled and not fryed....have to say that I give my dogs fryed liver once or twice a week, with no bad effect so far.
Love to know what "hot dogs " means.
Many thanks...
