We went to PAH today to collect our doggy photographs, and there was a queue - mostly of people, but there was a whitish shaggy dog asleep on the floor, about the size of a small springer. I then heard the owner say it was a labradoodle. Rather a nice dog, and quite a nice size, I thought - much easier to handle than my 2 great labbies. lol. Then when we came to pick up our pictures, we heard that it was only 12 weeks old. So....it's going to be absolutely massive, isn't it? I presume the cross is always with a standard poodle, who are quite large of course, but I'd no idea that they would be quite so huge. A further argument for sticking with real pedigree dogs, don't you think?

Theres one that goes to the school. Seems a nice dog but they get it cut like a Schnauzer  And it is as large as a standard poodlebut broader. and it deffinatly isnt the best looking dog around :(

The one that I know is the size and build of a standard poodle but with long, wavy black coat which feels very silky. If I didn't know the dog, I'd never guess in a million years it was a Poodle X Lab

I just e-mailed someone and well theirs go for $1100 - $1250  come on for a mutt, ridiculas... I asked if they do hip, elbow, eyes ect on their dog/bitch before breeding and was told No they don't have the same problems as a purebred OMG-- but if they get bad hip ect they offer a 1 year health guarentee. I wrote back and said yes they do only reason people say that is because people don't do these tests on crossbreeds is because they are crossbreeds grrrrrrrr   Why can't you do a test on a bitch/dog to make sure hips ect are good?
