Can someone please explain how you gain a stud book number.

Your Breed must have CC's. Each breed is split into bands, and each band has a number of placings that will get a dog a stud book number at at Champ Show with CC's allocated for that breed. Ie 1st & 2nd in Open dog or bitch. A CC or Reserve CC will also get a stud book number. A junior Warrent (which is 25 points gained at Open & Champ shows from 6 - 18 months of age) will also gain a stud book entry.
