:eek:Sorry about this but.....            puppy has to do this to one particular toy ....please can you tell me if this is something he is likely to grow out of?
He is a remarkably active 14 week year old terrier.

It's pretty normal puppy behaviour and not a s#xual urge ;)  If it's only one particular toy then simply remove it - if he moves onto something else just simply destract him when he starts.   He will outgrow the behaviour - sooner rather than later if you don't let it become a habit.

regards, Teri

Thank you for that Teri, its a bit sad that, as its his favourite monkey that we brought to him as an introductory gift from us.
But we will take away for now, wash it and maybe give it back in a few weeks time. I would hate the habit to continue.

I'm sure he'll be able to have it back again :)  At his age it's just an excitement thing - even bitch pups do it :D

The joys, eh  :D

If he doesn't bonk his monkey, be assured he'll find another item to "surprise"! ;)

I feel for her! Only there's nothing so persistent as a pup on a humping mission. You'd think their very lives depended on it. :D
