I am trying to compile a dossier of occassions where the KC have done a U-turn on some ridiculous rule or decision they have made. i.e the BSD debacle a few years ago. if anyone can help me by reminding me of any such U-turn (maybe breed specific to their own breed?) I would be very grateful

I don't know but look at that rule where they were going to allow unregistered dogs to be registered.

In our breed we have a brilliant bitch, who has had all health tests, who we know when she was imported that she was the breed that she's supposed to be (we've seen the parents) she's got a brilliant temperament etc. and they wouldn't include her.  Though they go and register some dogs that the Breed Club etc. say are not a good example of the breed.

They do make me wonder sometimes.

But I still prefer them to the other registration groups around!

Didnt they change their minds about consecutive litters - from all breeders to licensed? You will have to check, but I am pretty sure.
