have a 6 month  old yorkie as any one got an idea on what her weight should be in kgs plz

She should be 3kg as an adult, so probably about 2kg at 6 months.

All depends on how big she is :)

An adult Yorkie should be up to 3.2kg. :)  There's only one size. :D

You mean there SHOULD be only one size Val!! Unfortunately they vary pretty widely!

As far as I'm concerned, the big ones bear little resemblance to Yorkies apart from having 4 legs, a head and a tail!   If people mate a bad example to another bad example, then you end up with nothing more than a mongrel.  It's the same with any breed, and there are plenty of those in rescue kennels waiting for homes without breeding anymore.
A Yorkie is under 3.2kg! :D

My friend's 'miniature' Yorkie weighs 11lbs (almost 5kg)!!

  The Yorkshire Terrier is a relative new breed, made up of 3, possibly 4 terrier breeds, one being the Skye Terrier, and that is a big dog on little legs!!  Experienced breeders know exactly what's behind their dogs and are careful to breed as much as possible within the Breed Standard.  Those who are just mating a pet Yorkie with another pet Yorkie, without knowing the ancestors, regularly produce dogs as big as Cockers with woolly coats and floppy ears!
