The vet I use, I have been taking my dogs to for years and years. No upsetting things happen in their waiting room, I think they try to avoid keeping troublemakers waiting, they
are ushered away to wait in a secluded room

If I have an emergency, I might have to use our local Vet-Hospital, since my vet isn't open at night. From experience, I've learnt never to bring my dog in, until we are actually called. You never know what kind of dogs you will encounter there, and I'm rather safe than sorry. The extra time it takes getting the dog from the car, they'll just have to put up with. Besides, the dogs waiting might carry any number of contageous diseases, I'd rather not have my dogs sniffing their floor, while waiting
