Have just taken another look at the site ..there is now a club membership form to download (which is useful) but at the bottom of it there is a note to say Please refer to Club Rules......can I find the Club Rules anywhere on the site?

Well I can give you the results of the dogs but I left soon after and missed the bitches. alex and michael had gone to Alton Towers for the day and so Jasmine was home alone. Being as soft as I am I can't bear to think of her lonely so we came back. This also gives me the opportunity for a small brag, because Floyd won the Open Dog and went on to get Reserve Best Dog in Show. Anyway enough of him, here goes for the results,

I think its pretty safe to say Kicass got best in show. Good job I don't know the bitches because my fingers ache. The results are never put on the website but should be in the Sled Dog, whenever we see that!!

Do you know that he was my screensaver for quite some time when I was on my hunt for a Mal :) I must sound like a stalker now.
It was too far for us to travel. We had Birmingham on the Friday and with the traffic it took us nearly five hours to get home :( Kieras sister went, she came third apparently. Did you see her? Seacourt Future Star. I haven't seen her yet.

Kiera and Blue have gone head to head for best puppy two or three times now. The last time Sue commented on how Blue was trying to hurry out of the ring as he was scared of Kiera. Well Melody, I did tell you that she's a 'big bitch' ;)

Myatuk Lupus or Remus as he's called is Floyd's brother. It was the first time I'd seen him in nearly six years. He is the spitting image of Blaze minus the shampoo ( :) ;) Jacquie). I think floyd was found under the gooseberry bush because he looks nothing like either of them, apparantlly he takes after his mother while the other two favour Nimar. Lisa has got a website so you can see Remus but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. If Jacquie comes on she'll probably know.
Blue is a nice dog, to me he is very much a Keikewabic dog, which his mother is. He is very hairy, a lot of coat. I didn't really see any of the bitches but I did notice a lot of red puppy bitches there, maybe Polar paws, but I'm not sure.
I did think of putting a page of show results on my website but I didn't know how much interest it would generate. I have tried to make it a general mal site as well as just my two but I don't want to step on anyones toes.

Jayne ..who's toes would you be stepping on? :) If Mal owners cannot get the results then it would an excellent idea for *someone* to put them on the web. Hopefully Jacquie will be able to give me the website so I can see Remus.

Well, its something to think about Melody. I know me and Chris started the idea on his site (malamutes.co.uk) and I sent him lots of results but he is one busy man and things petered out. I don't go to all the shows but if anyone wanted to send me results from any shows open or champ, I could perhaps stick them on the web. Mind you I don't know how wide an audience they would get. I've only got a little site. I forgot to say Jane was at the show, she didn't have Storm with her obviously but it is nice to put a face to someone. We had met before at Crufts but I am a devil for names and faces, if I don't write my name down often enough I forget who I am never mind anyone else. Age is a terrible thing.

Not sure, vaguely recognise the person in the mirror but I thought she was a lot younger looking than that :(. Maybe I could start a page "Malamute friends" as well. You know the sort of thing, a page of photos of Floyd and Jasmines mally friends. Well friends over the web at least, being mals they would hate the sight of each other if they met. I am full of ideas now. You could all send me photos of your mals and I could stick them on, with names etc. Can someone stop this thing getting narrower and narrower please because I don't know how.

It wouldn't have made a lot of difference if we had have stayed Jacquie, Barbara would have gone up against Kicass, won, then the reserve bitch would have challenged him. As long as he was in there we couldn't have gone back in because Floyd was a beaten dog by him. The reserve bitch went in because she was only beaten by the BIS. But it would have been interesting I must admit, you would have thought that he'd go lame while floyd was in the challenge wouldn't you ;) Kic. moved well in the challenge, mind you he usually does but he is 8 in Dec isn't he?

PS Jane, what was floyd doing in the photo? You can send it email if you like, should be good for a laugh, he's not very photogenic, a bit like his owner in that respect. These postings are getting very narrow again, wish I knew what to do.

Jayne , they are getting narrow because you are replying to a post ..the longer and more often people *reply* then the narrower it gets. Reply to the top post and you should find the post sits more to the left of the screen :D
