My dog has an itch.when you go to stoke him on his side,his skin and fur swivels and his back leg lifts and starts to try to scratch the side being stroken,anyone know what it could be thanks

Sounds perfectly normal. Every dog I've ever known has done that! How do you react if someone tickles your feet? ;)
