I would say he is too young to be used yet as he isn't old enough to be hip scored yet, don't know about the other breed health tests, but suspect one of the eye diseses should be testd for over a year of age.

Also your bitch could well not be ready.

Wel not that many are but there is no room for complacency judging by those that have been.  All dogs in my view should be hip scored as some that you would never suspect can have pr3etty high scores.

I'm confused though if the bitch isn't in season why do you think the dog isn't interested.  A dog should only be interested in bitches to any more than a polite extent if they are in season.  In fact the silly ones that pester all bitches are rarely useful stud dogs.

When I ahve had stud dogs and bitches staying ehre for mating the studs show very little interest in the bitch, other than checking out her wee, and a quick sniff in the morning, until she is ready for mating.

i mean her dog is not in season yet,  but my bitch is and hes not bothered  so iam guessing he might not be so intrested in her bitch aswell when she does come into season

All dogs are different in when they are ready to mate.  It may just be that your dog knows your bitch too well to think of her in that way until he is more experienced.  He may be quite keen to mate a new bitch.  Although, some dogs never really have much idea.  Give him a month or two to grow up.
