Groan. This is why 90 % of all cats are moggies.......................and a lot of them in rescue.

The worst thing was that although, a few people said she was wrong, most said "ooh hoe lovely, where are you i  wouldlike a grey kitten!!!!!! but thier too expensive to buy:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Indeed, this is by far the most likely reason why I own an 8 yr old moggie, who turned up at 5 months old under my car, with no sign anywhere in town of an owner looking for her.  Their loss!

Also why I own the surviving sister of two moggies (tabby X tortie), from an accidental litter that we got free almost 20 years ago.  She's a lovely cat, but it is frustrating none the less.

All things in life are choses. everyone has a chose! to do good or bad!
To breed unwanted animals, that end up being not wanted, ill treated.
I myself would always have any dog I breed back at any age!
As I feel it was my chose to bring them into this world my responsibility through out there lives,
Do you feel the same?
Children! well! I personally would have every women sterilized that constantly kept
having there children put into care, but! Human rights! With a comment like that
I presume you have read the treaty.

Do cats not get health problems if not spayed. Like they continually come into season every couple of weeks until mated and this can bring them down health wise. So it is in the best interest of a pet to have them done. Toms will travel miles to find a mate and they always end up covered in battle scars. So much kinda to have  a little op when young.

I wish to there were a few human toms and Queens around my area that had had a little op when younger to

Yes. Each call for the queen will last longer and longer (normal time is around 5 days with around 3 weeks in between ecah call, although it is less in the winter sometimes) and eventually unless mated the queen will be in call for weeks and weeks on end without break and this will in the long run lead to ovarian cysts quite apart from the obvious loss of condition.

The last couple of days, I've been surfing the net. I am shocked at all
the litters of puppys, all the same breed, all the dogs for rehoming.:rolleyes:
I like all dogs but! love my own breed, But! I still feel so sorry for them all.
So at the momment, the subject is a bit raw, dogs, cats ect;

Was a big cat person before, and also when I owned dogs.  Every cat I have owned male or female has been neutered by me - non were pedigrees so no breeding issue.  Why have a female cat that comes into season very regularly and why have a male cat that sprays and smells everywhere and wanders.  All my cats have been extremely content (although some have left home ) and non seem to have felt deprived of parenthood.  I'm not a cat but it doesn't seem to have ruined their lives to be neutered!

All our cats were neutered too - again they were moggies rather than pedigree - and none of them suffered from the experience.  For sure, things went a lot more smoothly than when the only un-spayed cat we ever had did have a litter. Because shortly after the kits had gone to their new homes we went away for the weekend leaving the cat in the care of a friend of ours. Who greeted us, on our return, with the news that she had let the cat out into the garden because her "friends" had come round to call for her! An expensive trip to the vet followed very shortly afterwards, I'm afraid.

We had our first cat, a moggy queen, from the Cat Protection League who was found as a stray and spayed by them.  After she died we got our moggy tom from the RSPCA who again was found as a stray and already neutered.  Vouchers are available for people with a cat/cats over 6 months old to get them spayed/neutered for free as the 'problem' with unwanted litters of kittens is dreadful :rolleyes:
