hi i am wondering when i should give my cavvie pup a bath. i have owned and shown cavaliers so i would know when to do it but some of my cavaliers caught a little chill and got a little bit of dihorea. it is not serious but i would prefer if he wouldnt get a chill. they even get runny poo when they are thoroughly dried with a proffesional dog drier. he is almost 5 months old now. i would appreciate your replies

thankyou

P.S i am sorry about my rubbish spelling lol:rolleyes:

Never had that problem with any of mine & they have monthly baths from the time I bring them home even in the winter

it doesnt happen all the time just sometimes. he is a small cavalier and you cant help but worry about him getting a little chill:rolleyes: do you think i should give him a bath now or wait?my proffesional dog drier blows quite cold air so maybe it is that? or maybe not. but i always dry them thoroughly before placing outside

maybe the upset tum is nerves or excitement of having a bath !

when you say you always make sure they are dry before placing outside do they live outside?
if they live outside I wouldnt be bathing them very often this time of year.

or do you mean going outside for a pee!

I alway turn the heating up ...never had a problem..

no they all live inside with me:cool:  maybe it is just the excitement of the whole bath thing

Might just be the excitement - must admit I never bath mine unless there's a show or they're particularly filthy! As long as you make sure he's completely dry before letting him go outside again he should be ok. :-)
