Topic Dog Boards / Health / Floppy ear

George, my 10 week old Yorkshire Terrier (you will recall him as the dog with a poor appetite) has developed a 'floppy' ear. Both his ears took an errect form about a week ago but a couple of days ago the right ear developed a definite flop.
George now looks really cute but my concern is - will the offending ear regain its proper position?
Any thoughts and comments will be really appreciated.

P.S. George has put on weight and eating reasonably well.

It will probably turn out fine. Some dogs do extremely silly things with their ears when they are teething and in the end they come out ok.

I have Heelers and perfectly erect ears do sometimes drop while teething and come back up after.
