We have quite a few unpleasant dogs around here (one of which has attacked and seriously injured friends dog today) and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for harmless but affective deterrent devices.  It is getting beyond a joke and I am worried about walking Flynn in the local area.

If you know where their owners live report them to the police and if that fails get in touch with your local council as I am sure this is classed as anti-social behaviour! :)
In the mean time I dont know what to suggest  as what works for some dogs as a deterrant might make these dogs turn nasty.

Hopefully someone will be along soon to offer some more advice.
