Mixed feelings which board to use here

so bear with me ;)
Flicked onto a certain well known shopping channel
where Value & Convenience are preceded only by their Quality
anyway, they had an hour devoted to pet products (beds, sprays, etc) but kicked off with a "Training Video/DVD" package which got me in a bit of a lather. Presenter was duly joined by the latest overseas gimmick trainer who opened his sales pitch with
"follow the best trainer of dogs in the world - the female wolf" This led to a sweet, happy, tail wagging Bernese being enclosed in a pen with him, invited to taste the delights of a flat plate covered in meats and, upon the Bernese attempting to gently take what had been very obviously offered to it, the "trainer" immediately vigorously shook a small plastic bottle containing pebbles into the dog's face :( Dog naturally jumped back in fear, tail tucked whereupon said trainer "invited" the dog to take from the plate again and ditto, poor dog received same treatment. Needless to say the dog then retreated to the furthest point it could from him and plate and when he approached again was obviously nervous and upset

This was then hailed by the trainer as
the problem of stealing being easily solved by his methods. The presenter (predictably) was overcome with admiration and put him further to the test by introducing another small dog (already uncertain of it's surroundings) and ensuring it was equally traumatised

The DVD / Video is marketed as
"Make your dog a well-mannered member of your household with Troy Tappin's dog obedience method. Celebrities, professional dog trainers, vets, groomers and dog walkers alike have all been amazed by this dynamic system, designed to eliminate unwanted behaviours and teach your dog basic command obedience, regardless of its age or breed. Follow the step-by-step, interactive sessions in this set of two videos or DVDs and learn what makes dogs do what they do" Don't know if anyone else watched the live demo but I phoned in and complained and also advised that they check his training methods and "wolf pack theory" with the UK Assoc of Pet Dog Behaviourists.
If anyone else did see the show or is a member of this channel and feels strongly about the product being inappropriate, would they please telephone or email them to convey their feelings.
Thanks, Teri :)
