hey this is a really stupid question but how do you do some of the smilies.

but anything else i can't do by using the normal symbols.
please enlighten me
i want my posts to look more interesting!!! and be able to put my real feelings across instead of getting misunderstood (i am not very good at getting how i am feeling out in words!!!)

when I try to be shocked I type in : - o (without spaces)
and I get this :-o which looks to me like a yawn???

How do I get the little blue shocked face??
(when I click on the one above this text box it does'nt work?)

Oh thats a puzzle So when you click on Reply and get a blank white area to type on there is nothing between that and Post Reply written above it?  Better ask Admin if no one else knows as I can't see anything in Options that might cover it.

Mines a mac too and I cant seem to highlight the ones available to use..have to do it manually :(

when i was reading isabel's post about doing the funky link in the text bit i was getting all confussed about what she was going on a bout highlighting and clicking. i did it manually instead :(
