Hi! My Girl GSP has recently had weepy sores on her back just above her tail. I cleaned these with Betadine ointment & they formed scabs which duly fell off. The skin & hair came off & I treated the very dry skin patches with Aqeous cream so now she has 3 big bald patches on her back. The skin is now back to normal Has anyone seen this sort of infection & do you think the hair will grow back eventually? Regards Saga.

Sounds like it could have been wet eczema to me - if so, now the skin is healthy again, you should start to see hair growing back quite soon.
