Hi everyone mum mu got a 4 month old Rottweiler puppy last friday and she does not seem to be gaining weight, She is a little on the slim side but vet says she is fine.
She has been wormed had vaccinations, Just we think for her build she was not very well looked after by her previous owner...

Does anyone know where i can get a weight and growth chart that i can print out for my mum I have searched the internet but can not find one..

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance :)

If the vet says she is fine then she more than likely is. Rotties should NOT be huge hefty things even as adults, never mind as a four month old pup. She has months and months of upwards growing to do before she will put on her adult muscle tone and it is much better for her to be slim than it is to be heavy.

I agree with theemx, u dont want her gettin to big to quickly as this can have some nasty effects later on in life, ie hip dysplasia and alike.
have owned numerous Rotties as well as GSD's, as long as vet says she is coming along ok then there shouldnt be a problem, she's probably a bit on the small side due to breeder not having full knowledge on weaning etc, as u  already thought yourselves.

Good luck with this wonderful breed:cool:
