I'm from North America and unfortunately can say that I knew several owners that brought up their pups on Diamond Pet Food. Luckily none of them lost a pet due to it but who's too say that they're not suffering from some internal promblems? It angers me to think that this company produced such a harmful product for so long undetected! With the constant inspections that are required here in the states (not sure about the policies there) I am very dissapointed that it was overlooked. I can only hope that other owners using that product are doing what is possible, visiting their vet and becoming more aware of what they're choosing for their animals. Thats not to say that I couldn't have just as easily chosen that brand, unknowing of the dangers. Good luck to everyone that is having their pets inspected for the dangers of that horrible dog food!
