Topic Dog Boards / General / shaven ear

my dog cut his ear yesterday running in the woods, it wasnt much but I took him to the vets and he shaved that area of the ear so he could see if it needed stitches. It must have really hurt and my dog cried and struggled the whole time. Once we were out he was fine but 2 hours later he was sick. Do you think it was stress?

poor lamb. I'm surprised they didn't give him a mild sedative if he was so uncomfortable about the proceedure.

not quite sure about the sickess to be honest-might be delayed stress so to speak. Hope he's okay now.

Could be delayed stress I suppose, or could be unrelated. Keep an eye on the poor chap. :-)
