my 6 and a half month old staffy girl has a rash on her belly and back legs . she dosnt seem bothered by this . could it be hormonal as she she might be aproaching her first season .

It could be a contact allergy. Have you changed her bedding, or the soap powder recently? It could also be a flea allergy, or a grass allergy. Though I don't think the grass is a likely cause at this time of year ;) It wouldn't do any harm to de-flea her, just in case. If it does turn out to be fleas you will have to de-flea the whole house :( so I hope it's not that :)

wouldnt be demodex? could take her to vets- he/she may do skin scrape, i know with this it doesnt cause itching..
or could be what op has mentioned

it pears when she wakes its got better but after walkies ect it comes back and shes only road walking around the block so i can rule out grass

took her to vets this morning . he gave her a flea spotter some steroids and antihistermene tablets . was informed that stafys are prone to dry skin . can different food help her out shes currently on arden grange  . breeder told us to go back to eukanuba
