we have a 3 year old male westie who is the apple of our eyes we also have 3(human...lol) boys so life is hectic anyhow.
myself and my husband have been thinking of getting another dog for a while now, i feel it would be great for toddy to have a buddy especially as my kids are at the age of having a social life out of our home.
toddy is an excellent dog he sleeps in a crate at night doesnt have any accidents unless at fireworks nights and is a great trained dog.
he loves me to pieces.
would getting another dog be beneficial for toddy.
if so what sex would we get
any advice would be great.
we where thinking of getting another small dog whom would fit into a noisy but sociable family setting.
i am a mobile/at home nail technician so i have all the time to train the puppy as we did with toddy.

You won't have the same time as you did with Toddy because he was your only dog then................

If you like a Westie why not have another one or a Scottie or Cairn?

Female may be best but if your current male is not neutered consideration must be given to arrangements when the bitch came into season............
