Today, my hubby, son and I went to our local retail park for a wander around the sales and took Harvey along with us - he's a little ruby CKCS, just 18 weeks old tomorrow. Hubby stayed outside lots of shops with him while I shopped (he couldn't get over the attention he got....says Harvey is every single mans perfect pulling tool, a real 'lady magnet'). Anyway, hubby went in pc world and I stayed outside with Harvey. A couple came out with a little boy about 2 years old - his little eyes lit up when he spotted Harvey and his father made a real fuss of him but when he asked his son if he'd 'like to stroke the doggy' his wife snapped 'NO HE DOES NOT!!!' like he was some sort of vermin. I was really upset:mad:The little boy looked so dissapointed and the father looked thoroughly embarassed. I gave the woman such a look - held my head high and looked right down my nose at her - I wouldn't mind but she looked like a nice soak in the bath wouldn't go amiss......some people really bug me! She was so rude!!

Sorry to go on - rant over!! Just had to get that off my chest.

Horrid woman! Sounds like Cruella De Ville in disguise!

Harvey sounds absolutely adorable. Have you got any pics?

unfortantly you get some people like that, just ignor them!

And yes I know many males (of all ages) who have found puppies and dogs lady magnets!  Errrrmmm why is it my 15 year old brother still shows!?! :D ;)

Yes my husband is one of them:eek: Luckily i haven't met any people like that with regards to my dog but like most people have said just ignore it, sometimes it's other peoples ignorence.
