Topic Dog Boards / Health / My cavalier is vomiting non stop
- By carrie76 [gb] Date 28.12.05 20:06 UTC
Hi there,
Can someone please give me advice. My 3 year old cavalier has been vomiting non stop since I came home from work about 3 hours ago and im worried sick. He has been trying to get out to the garden to eat grass. Im worried as on boxing day im 99% sure that he ate a small marble that a neighbours kids had dropped. I have phoned the vet and am waiting for him to phone back but it could be hours. Im wondering if the marble could have caused an obstruction.

I would be so grateful for any advice anyone could give.

If he wants to eat grass to aid himself being sick, then let him, whilst you are sorting out the vet

Hi there,
Thanks for all the replies. The vet has just phoned and told me to starve him and bring him down in the morning. He seems to have settled down a little bit. The vet said that he thought that a marble would have passed straight through. If he is still like this I will phone the emergency animal hospital.

Thanks again
