Have taken Ellie back to the vets. She's been kept in so they can run some tests on her. The vet mentioned uraemia which I believe is to do with kidney failure and toxins being retained rather than secreted. She's only 5 1/2 and has become lethargic and off her food only in the past 36hrs or so. She was happily running around the park on Sunday afternoon. I'm worried sick about her; just sat waiting for the blood test results and wondering where we go from here.

Anyone have any experiance about the care of dogs with kidney probs??

I found that too, if you try to edit a post you ahve put a link into it adds all the html stuff to it when it is reposted and doubles it, so you then have to edit all the junk out.
