Just had to take my Ellie to the vets. She's not been herself since yesterday afternoon. I just thought she was having an 'off day' but today she's become more lethargic, not eating, not interested in anything or anybody. What made me reach for the phone, though, was the awful offensive smell coming fro her mouth. Her teeth are good so the smell is probably related to something else.The vet said she's got a slight temp so gave her an antibiotic injection. She's also been swallowing in a really strange way- the vet said she could be nauseous so gave her an anti-emetic. Hopefully, she's just got an infection... we have to go back tomorrow mornng. If she doesn't improve then we're looking at something more serious, perhaps kidney disease. Poor little bless her, she's lying here , snuggled up to her dad.. I keep upsetting myself of course, thinking the worse. Keep your fingers crossed for us.

I know just how you feel, I keep bursting into tears with all the problems I'm having with Fagin at the moment.  Hope Ellie makes a full recovery.
