lucy had a litter of 7 pups 16 days ago we lost 1 pup at 2 days the other 6 have been doing really well and are coming along nicley. This evening lucy is acting very strange she is constantaly asking to go out we take her out and she just wanders around up untill now she has only asked to go out to the toilet, i really dont know what is wrong with her this evening. Has anyone elses bitch behaved like this?

yes i havent had it with this bitch because i had to seperate her from her pups at around that age anyway but with previuos bitches yes and it was simply a matter of needed a break and some fresh air unless she is showing signs of illness or her behavour changing in anyway besides from wanting to leave the pups for a bit i wouldnt worry the pups eyes should be open by now and they should be starting to move around a little so she just feels its time for her to have a break they dont need her their constantly if she is still coming back in to feed her pups and she isnt behaving differently or looking acting sick then i wouldnt be so worried

oh just one other thing though where di you put the dead pup if you had burried it in the garden she may know its there and she may be looking for it

thanks for the advice she settled down after a little bit i think she was just having a off night, the dead pup was taken to the vets btw
