I thought that it was bad enough that we had originally decided that only those with Children would get presents this year, but the OH has surpassed himself. We were looking through the decorations to find one or two to make the house an insy winsy festive and HE came across the cards he had given me over the past five years and asked me to choose one for this year.......!!
He says he hasn't time or the money to buy me one this year!!
Oh yes I will be getting a present.. it's one I choose and bought myself on eBay... He might wrap it :-(
What with that and the thawed freezer I just about give up!!

Oh Dear it sounds although you need some Christmas cheer your way :)

Think positively and he may surpirse you and get you a lovely present ;)

Or he could be a big Bah Humbug and needs a big kick up the bum :D

Perhaps he is just winding you up and there's a nice surprise coming your way?

If not, perhaps you could find an old card you sent him and ask whether he wants his name scribbled through so you can re-address it to "Scrooge".

(Although I must admit that I have never, ever, bought my OH a Christmas card since I can't see the point when I see the bloke every day anyway. But then I'm well known for being one of life's Great Unromantics!)

We have this year and don't normally :D We were in the same shop and had a laugh choosing them ! I have got the OH a really naff card that plays music and he has got me a suitably naff romantic crass card :D :D

We also got some realy rude cards to send to the select few I can be bothered to write cards to :D

I wish I'd got organised to do rude ones.

Unfortunately I've managed to come up with an unusually tranquil rural scene for ours!! :)

No no, not a wind up. I will get nothing from him. He buys nothing for nobody, even though he will get from the Son and Daughters which as usual he will tell them too late not to get us anything  that's quite embarrassing. I used to get for all his family but frankly after 15 years together and there being no intention of making me part of it albeit we are supposed to be engaged  I really don't care anymore.

Men and their families! Pshaw! There's a whole conference worth of material there so don't think you are alone Herbiedax!

Oh dear sounds a bit more serious :( I think you need to think about making a move to change things and get out of what seems a bit of a one sided relationship ;)

You will be better off out of it by the sounds of it and there is somebody out there that is more deserving of a lovely warm loving person like you ;)
