Beau has just shown his appreciation of his "elevation" to house dog for the month (our dogs take it in turn to spend "quality" in house time as opposed to "roughing" it in their custom-built kennels :D) - by spending the last 45 minutes chewing ALL SIX leather collars !

He's sitting quite happily in the basket in the kitchen, having "borrowed" the collar & lead basket from the chest of drawers beside him - and has carefully chewed through every b****y collar!   I suppose if I hadn't noticed, he would have started on the leads next!

Its a good job I've still got slip leads!

Now then - does anyone know where I could get the leather /needles/thread/hand padsfrom to remake these collars?   I've still got the buckles and chains !!!

I suppose its a hint that they all want new collars from Santa Paws!

Send me the bits and ill remake them.... i think they ARE angling at new collars, LOL.

Fortunately that has never happened in my house, as apart from the leads and collars either made or being made, i have several £100's worth of leather in the house..... the thought of oneo f the dogs getting to it and chewing it :shudder:........
