My GSD is a good 11 years old now and had a clean bill of health at the vet's this week thankfully.  However, one thing I have noticed is that the lovely gleam on her coat has diminished although no change in routine or diet.  I think at her age, perhaps some sort of supplement might help and I wondered if anyone could suggest something - but not oil based because as with many GSDs she has rather a delicate tummy.

I give my girls restore with thier food you can get it from dog health not sure about it for an older dog but worth a look or they may have something more suitable.

However fish oil and oils in general are usually the best for skin and coat health,have you ever tried it? You may be able to supplement with it but find the right dose for your dog :)
