Advert reads, sale or swap Black/white Lhaso Apso puppy ( months old) for a white or white/grey, wanting to change colour forces sale?????????????????? What the???? Poor pup, why buy this colour if they wanted a different one, maybe changed colour scheme in house, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I dont understand how you can take a pup into the house as a member of the family and then want to change in months later for another.Dont these people love the dog no matter what the colour?Whats wrong with them? :(

Today's throwaway society, unfortunately - everything is just a commodity :(
Daisy
Also a society where dogs and other animals are viewed as fashion accessories :(
I dont think people appreciate these dogs that we created the way we used to, its all focused on aesthetics- not on temprement and character- so sad- and shameful on us. :(
I dont see that it matters what colour they have as when they picked the pup at first there must have been something they liked about it.Its still the same breed so there will not be a change there.I could never rehome my dogs specially not for such a pathetic reason as that.I have two GSDs,both darker colours but would love a white, doesnt mean to say i would swap either of them though. It just means that if i wanted another dog that bad then i would have to enlarge my family a little. :)
Why do people do that though? Was the dog not a part of their life and were they not attatched to it in anyway? If the answer is no then in my opinion they should rehome the dog they have and not get another. We are talking about a life here and not a dress to be returned to Dot Perkins when its gone out of fashion.Stupid, stupid people.

Just playing devil's advocate here, it could not possibly be some sort of typo??????????
Tohme, have a look at the ad its on the website, I don't think it would be a mistake.

Poor little thing! Although I'm nearly as horrified by discovering that someone is selling their 4 month old Staffy pup (and quotes the original price paid so this will be the second home the poor little tyke has had since he was born!!!) as an "ideal Christmas gift"!
I'd like to give them an "ideal Christmas gift"....the sort that starts with "come here" and ends with "ouch", to quote Blackadder!
I also saw one today on the internet ....someone is selling their female dog, who's due to have her puppies in 2 weeks :-( so he's asking for a "very quick" sale

I really hate it when I see people selling dogs (grown up ones) for cash because they are moving to a place where they can't have animals, if they really have to move to this place, which is fair enough then they should give away the dog for free, as they should want it to go to a good loving home and not care about the money.

Asking for money, or at least advertising that you will be asking for money, will often help sort out the sheep from the goats :)
