Hi,

I intend to have my little boy neutered as soon as he's old enough (he's only 14 weeks at the mo). Does anyone know if it makes a difference to their coat? I have read that in some breeds the coat can go unruly and wondered if this applies to cavs? He's a ruby by the way if this makes any difference.

Thanks in advance

I have heard that it can make the coat go thick and woolly and un-managable if you spay a Cav bitch, so it would probably be the same for a neutered male. How's he getting on Hayley, you having fun? :-)

Hi Lucy,

He's absolubtley delightful thankyou! Potty training gone very well indeed....probably spoke too soon now!!! Just about sorted his diet now and just in the process of weaning over to JWB turkey which he is really enjoying. We've just come home from a day in Lytham St Annes and Harvey LOVED the beach so much! He's flat out now in his bed! Only thing I can't understand is that he won't toilet at all when out walking.....not even a little wee and he waits until we get home when he's bursting. Hope your little treasures are ok?

Take care

Hayley xx
