Topic Dog Boards / General / Pedigree certificate

Have just received Flynn's pedigree from the Kennel Club and on it there is an Int Fin L CH.  I presume that Int is for International and know that CH is for Champion but what does Fin L mean?  Also what does JW mean after a Champions name?

Thanks for your help.

International Finnish (and probably Luxemburg (?) Champion in the title.  The JW at the end of the name stands for "Junior Warrant" which is a pointed system achievement available on certain wins up to the age of 18 months.  A dog need not be or necessarily go on to become a champion simply because it gains a JW, it's an "extra"  :)

Thanks.  It is all very confusing to us newcomers.

No probs ;)

being confused isn't the prerogative of "newcomers" alone - comes naturally to many of us (well, me! ) :P
