Wouldn't you just know that tonight being the night that Nipper was wormed, he chose to bolt his dinner down so fast that the inevitable happened and half of it came back! Not really fancying picking over the evidence in microscopic detail I now have no idea whether it contained half a Drontal Plus tablet or not. The one thing I do know is that the tablet went down very early in the scoffing process because I was keeping a close eye on him to check that I'd concealed it successfully! I'm reluctant to re-worm him again immediately on the offchance but given his fondness for trying to lick sheep poo and his age (18 weeks) I'd be grateful to have opinions on when it would be sensible to repeat the dose.

I'd have left the "mess" on the floor.  If he's anything like mine he'll try it for a second time given half a chance!  Yuk.

Definitely re-worm.  I'd wait one or two days and then dose him again.

I'd have to worm again because my dog likes disgusting 'treats' too.  Like onetwothree says though I would leave it a few days as with my dog the worming tabs always made her a little off colour for a couple of days.

Don't have to hide the tablets though, I just tell her to sit then flick the tablet in the air and she catches, chews and sits waiting for the next one :D  Daft Dog! :D
