I have a 15 month old Neapolitan mastiff who has no sign of testicles whatsover. The vet has recommended a blood test to ascertain whether his testerotone levels are normal for his age. Apparently if the levels are low or non existant then he will probably be missing his testicles altogether.
If his levels are normal then she will have to find and remove them - I am really worried about this as I wouldn't be thinking of having him castrated otherwise and the operation is a big one. He is gaining confidence nicely and am also worried that the op will affect his development. Any comments/advice/reassurance wuld be welcome. Thanks
