hi. I have a 10 month old terrier bitch that constantly wees on her bed! She still lays on the bed so she then smells of  urine constantly too!! She is kept outside at night and when we go out during the day although they are very rearly left in the day as I am at home on materinty leave and before that I was lucky enough to be able to take her to work with me. She is clean in the house. Her housing outside is not a small dog kennel. It is a 6x4 shed with insulated walls and laminate flooring so it is easy to mop and disifect etc... and it has a 10 x10ft run through a dog flap. We have tried numerous things to try to stop this. If she is caged inside overnight when we are in the caravan etc at dog tournaments she holds it so we know she can, But every night she wees on her bed and normally poo's aswell but the continues to sleep on the bed along with my other poor dog is is normally very clean. WE have tried vet bed, a plastic bed with cusion type bed, a rised bed off the floor, we even bought an expensive waterproof bed so we could at least clean it easier but sadly that is nomore after my other dog decided that tasted quite nice. It helped with cleanliness but still was not a solution for the problem. We have at the moment resorted to a plastic bed with straw as it is imposible to keep ontop  of washing smelly wet beds and also baby washing!!!
We hoped that she would grow out of this but does not seem to be. If anything she gets worse!
We got her from a breeder who bred them outside in a kennel and wonder if this is the main reason.
We love her to bits but are pulling our hair out over this problem. She is otherwise a delightfull dog. PLEASE PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP WE WOULD BE MORE THAN GREATFULL!!!!!

Has she had a season yet?  I ask this because my bitch who will be a year this month, around 9/10 months was weeing in her bed, she came in season at 10 months, since then it has stopped.
