Have just taken Flynn to his first puppy socialisation class and we had such fun!!! There were 6 dogs in total.  Two labrador puppies, one labrador rotweiller cross, one border terrier and two cavaliers (one being Flynn).  Most were between 12 to 14 weeks.  The Border terrier is just under 10 weeks and Flynn is 10 weeks today.  I was so proud of him.  He really held his own and enjoyed a lot of play fighting.

Can't wait till next week now.

Glad you had fun.  Just a warning though - allowing lots of playfighting isn't always a good idea.  Some puppies learn very quickly to become bullies or to be bullied if the play time isn't carefully controlled :(

Thanks for the advice.  I will keep and eye on that.  This was all controlled though so I think it was ok.  The lady teaching the class kept a close eye on them all.

Clever Flynn! Glad you both had fun!  We're looking forward to taking Holly when she's all 'immunified' and safe!  Oh, by the way, you sound like you might appreciate this Melster, have just got Holly's new collar and matching lead - they're pink with flowers and diamante!!!!  Rediculously cute! Although husband is a little reluctant to be seen with this particular fashion item............

When we went to Discover Dogs a couple of weeks ago I bought a blue collar and lead for Flynn with Blenheim Cavalier all over it.  My husband didn't approve either but as Flynn is a Blenheim I had to have it.  I think it is wonderful.  It is a bit big at the moment but he will soon grow into it.

Well we can't expect our husbands to have the same fashion sense as us and our Cavs can we??!!  Holly's a blenheim too - I used to have one when I was younger, and have always thought them gorgeous.
