What is the best and most reliable site for buying tickets for gigs and concerts ? I have an idea for a pressie for Christmas for my OH but have seen on Watchdog a site that is extremely unreliable and can't remember who they are and don't want to part with my money without knowing we are going to be able to get the tickets and see the band :)
Thanks

I have used Ticketmaster several times and they are very good, they send the tickets through very fast. Also got tickets direct from various places like NEC etc and had no problems.

Caught the tail end of something about this on Radio 4's You and Yours today. Can't remember the name of the company they were outing but from the snatch I caught they seemed to be saying any company that buys tickets to sell on is breaking the terms of issue as the tickets are invariable non transferable and if you turn up with such a ticket you could be turned away, something about the anti touting laws. Anyhoo if you go You and Yours
web site you can listen to this yourself.

I have used ticket master for many years and never had a problem tickets always turned up on time and they seem to be very reliable

Lucky to get change out of £50 per ticket now eh? getting too expensive I think.
I have phil collins sticket stub from 1990 it was £18 we were front row. 2005 £45
I have tickets to see Depeche Mode in Manchester and Birmingham, I think they were in the region of £50-£60 per pair. However we decided to go to Barcelona to see them (this is before the UK dates) and £90 per ticket..... nearly fell off my chair. But hey, never been Barcelona, booked cheap-ish flights, just hope we can get a reasonable deal for a hotel.
