Just back from the vet with a 9 week puppy who has been diagnosed with Swollen Gland Disease.  She is now recieving treatment with steroids and I have been told it is an on going treatment as opposed to the 1-2 week quick fix.

Her sysmptoms originaly were swollen eyelids and inflamed third eyelid in both eyes, she was treated as having an eye infection for 4 days.  That was until this morning and she resembles the "greedy hamster".  The full head is swollen, eyes, cheeks, muzzle and neck.

Has anyone else had a pup/dog with this condition?  Is there anything you could recommend to ease the swelling and or help prevent the possibility of the skin splitting.
