Does anyone know of a really good, as in hardwearing, soft dog toy? Buddy really loves his ted but now he's got a full set of gnashers poor old ted is nearly dead! it's an old thing the kids had so I know it wasn't designed to be mauled by dogs but so far it's lasted longer than the ones I've bought from the pet shops!
Just wondering if anyone has come across a good ted substitute, of course when new pup arrives he won't need ted as they can chew eachother although pup will probably end up with a ted of his own and that will need to be tough!:D

Pets at home have just had a new range of puppy toys :D We have bought pup a soft toy that has extra added bits for chewing (like baby activity toys have different things attached). How indistructable it is we will have to see:D

I hardly ever go to PAH as I used to work there! it's not that i dislike it it just takes me so long cos I end up chatting for about an hour and the kids get bored!:) perhaps I'll persuade hubby to come then it won't take so long.

Julie,
Then you'll get upset at your hubby for tugging at you to leave just when you get to an interesting point in the conversation :D :D :P

I give mine an old tee-shirt tied in a really tight knot....they love it

When my daughter wore acrylic tights I would keep all the holey ones and fold them in half and tight a knot in the middle, for puppies.

sam,
thats a pretty good idea, much cheaper than buying teddies that disintegrate after 10 minutes, I'll use one of hubbys, sure he won't mind!;)

Do be careful though - you could end up with a fetish dog into your clothes - of your husbands :)
Check out www.bluepet.co.uk they do all the toys on line and next day delivery. I tried them the other day - very impressed.
Have a good weekend.

If you tie a tennis ball in the tights makes it even more fun and they do last a surprisingly long time;-)
For cheap soft toys though - check out yourlocal charity shop. I've bought loads from there and at only 10 - 50p a go I don;t mind if they only last a day or two. Check they are "safe" though.
