Hello,
Daisy is 63 days from 2nd mating today and 65 days from the 1st. She has hardly eaten for the last few days, has been digging a bit in her bed, she has started losing clear discharge for the last 2 or 3 days.
Was just wondering how common it is for them to go over 63 days, she isnt in any distress so dont want to go rushing her down the vets, any advice will be appreciated.

Hiya, how is her temperature doing?I find that the most reliable method of pinpointing the iminent arrival of puppies........taken on a regular basis so you don`t miss the drop, puppies 24 to 48 hours later.Good Luck. Gail :) :) :)

My last litter was born on Day 68 from the first mating and 66 from the second. They were all very healthy. (I was a wreck!)

Hello Clair
Can't really offer much advise, all I want to say is good luck - I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Hello,
Sorry ive not updated earlier, my pc been playing up and couldnt log in. Well what an emotional rollercoaster the last week has been. After days of worrying because she had gone "over" Daisy had her pups on Tuesday afternoon (day 65 from last mating). She had 3 pups, all were breech and very big, it was not easy for her and she needed our help, it was very hands on and extremely hard for me to see her go through this. The first pup was very limp and slow to come round but i would not give up on him and finally got him going, she went on 2.5 hours later to have another boy and then 3 hours later a little girl. They are now all thriving and Daisy is a great mum. I was slightly concerned in the first few days because Daisy seemed to have very little milk, and when i tried to express some i couldnt, but i am weighinh the pups and they are all gaining weight lovely so im sure i have nothing to worry about. Thanks to everyone for all the help and advice throughout Daisys pregnancy and needless to say in the next 8 weeks too!
