hi,I have an 18 month old rottweiler, unfortunatley my partner and i split up, there are a few main problems with her, as im disabled i have problems walking her she is far too strong she pulls she jumps like a bucking bronco and if a car comes near at all she chases it i have her on an halti, i also always have treats for her, and i do the turning directions with her which is an absolute nightmare, she is good in all other ways just a little boistrous but nothing i cant handle in the house, she is as good as gold otherwise,i really would love to get her walking on a leash as walking is god excercise for myself too,but its so stressful please can anyone help, thankyou

Hi guest why dont you register then you can post again
the only advice i can offer is have you tried going to a training class and starting afresh with her...it must be hard with your disabilities.. i would ask local to see if any classes are available..polly

Why not get in touch with one of the above, particularly Dog Aid which helps disabled owners train their own pet dogs.  This may be an option for you to keep your dog helped by someone who understands your limitations.
