Hi all
As some of you of you will know I've recently started my dogs on the barf diet and you all gave me such good advice I wonder if you could help me once again. Today I met up with someone I have'nt seen for a while and found that she has also started her dogs on raw food because of problems with itchy coats. Of course we discussed the ins and outs and she told me that she has been told not to give keepers mix but does'nt know why.  Has anyone any ideas why that advice was given?  Maybe something to do with itchy skin possibly?

Dorwest advise keeping your dogs off Keepers Mix during the summer if they suffer from overheating.

There is no reason NOT to give Keepers Mix at any time of the year as long as of course your dog is not allergic to any of the ingredients.

I feed Keepers Mix during the Winter (along with fresh greens etc) and then switch to Easygreen (also by Dorwest) in the summer.

The alfalfa/kelp provides the complete spectrum of minerals and vitamins and so is useful for dogs IMHO.  The other ingredients have other properties.
