Have'nt been on here in a little while,so busy. Just wanted to update anyone who was with me all the way through my special puppy's (Wicket) long fight to live.(he was diagnosed with a neurilogical problem with his throat causing him to asperate fluid's). Anyways 2 weeks ago I took him back to vet to get more antibiotic's as he did have horrible life threating pnemonia. The vet took x-rays and returned to the room shaking his head. I thought Oh great bad news again. Instead he said he never, ever would have dreamed this puppy's lungs would look as good as they did. He said they are actually completely CLEAR!!!! Of course this puppy is still on antibiotic's because of continual asperation of fluids at least till he is a bit older, but this pup is a true insperation!!! Vet has changed his tune from complete dispair to hoping he could possibly learn to use his throat muscles differently to compensate somehow. We just don't know. And I'm not getting my hopes too high. But he is now 5 months old and from day one all vets had wrote him off!! He's so happy and I've bonded with him beyond imagination!!!!! Regardless of how long he lives his has changed my life forever and has shown me what love and a huge heart can do. Thanks for being there for me and I will continue to update now and then.

However long, or however short Wicket's life will be, he has got 100% love from you - and that is the main thing!
I'm so pleased that you've made it so far along the line.

Brilliant news :) I remember when I first read about Wicket, I felt so sad for you both. But I am so pleased he is holding his own and long may he continue to do so.
