Is it possible that sardines can cause a dodgy tummy? I always thought fish was good for them. Pup is 13 weeks

Yep - it's quite possilbe it might not agree with your dog. Are you feeding tinned sardines? If you fed the ones in oil without draining them, it could have had a laxative effect. Or you simply may have given the pup too much in one go if it it's the first time. My dogs prefer the tomato sauce version anyway. Also don't feed them raw as somebody not so long ago on here did that with some kind of oily fish (mackerel) with 'spectacular' results. :D

Ahem...that would be me then :D As Phoebe says, stick to tinned unless cleaning up regurgitated fish (several times :rolleyes: ) is your idea of fun :D
