I'm looking to buy a Puppy towards the end of April /beginning of May time next year , what is the best time to start looking and is there a list I could join , so if a puppy becomes available in my area I can perhaps be notified

Your best bet is to contact the breed clubs listed at the bottom of the Breed Standard and ask for details of reputable breeders who have puppies available or due. It's then up to you to make contact with them, and be prepared to be vetted!

You can't start looking soon enough! Have a look at this site & get in touch with some of the breed clubs who will be able to give you contacts for breeders near to you. Find out what health tests should be carried out & make sure any puppy you buy comes from parents who have tested free of these diseases.
