My normally non stop yorkie keeps doing a strange thing... He walks a few steps then tucks his bum under him and sits.  He never sits and also he just wants to be on my knee which again is something he doesnt normally do.  Could he have tummy ache? I have touched him all over and nothing seems sore.  Any ideas?

Hi Leanek, has he been wormed recently?  the only reason i ask is he could have an itchy bottom.  If he has it's definitely worth getting him checked out by your vet, it could be loads of things you see, his glands could need emptying.

I know my westie Luicy if she gets a twig stuck in her fair by her bum she will sit down and wont move or she gets up runs and then sits down again until you remove it.

Warm regards Susan

Susan  thanks for your reply.

Thats exactly what he was doing, the same thing as he does when he gets a twig stuck.  This morning he is fine, hopefully it was a touch of tummy ache.

hi leanne- this is what we see dogs do that have worms, does he sometimes look at his bum and nibble it?!
If so take him to vets, weigh him and worm him if this carries on, hope it stops soon x
