i have slight asthma and thinking about getting a golden retriever.will dog hair trigger my asthma?i have no carpets in my house (wooden flooring)how bad will malting be?

My mother's golden moulted huge quantities of hair twice a year, with a little all the time (just as you or I lose a few hairs daily). Your best bet is to visit a breeder and spend some time with the adult dogs, and see if they have an effect on you.

The breed of dog has little to do with allergy....If people are allergic to one breed they are usually allergic to all. Are you allergic to any other peoples dogs? You could always go to your doctor and get allergy tested.
